Chandelier

Chandelier is a decorative lighting element which contains more than one lamp. It is designed to mount on ceiling or wall.

Incandescent, halogen or LED lamps with E14 or E27 socket are used on chandeliers. Some modern chandeliers contain LEDs in the light source. In such chandeliers, replacing lamp is not easy according to other chandeliers with a socket. But LEDs are long lasting light sources and it is very unlikely to see LED fail.

Classical chandeliers have crystal stones with prism pattern. These stones break the light and distribute it to the room. In some chandeliers, instead of stones, caps are used which hide the light source. Light is softly distributed with these caps. In another chandelier type, stone or cap is not used to hide the lamp. Lighting is provided by light that comes directly from the lamp or is reflected from the ceiling.

Modern chandeliers use LED light sources because of their flexible application possibilities. In LED chandeliers, light strips can provide uninterrupted lighting throughout the chandelier body.
Chandelier selection is made according to the size of the room, ceiling height, and decorative elements. The lowest part of the chandelier should be at a minimum height of 220-230 cm from the ground. In case of mounting above a table, the chandelier should be at least 70-80 cm high from the table. It is possible to change those values according to chandelier choice and personal preferences.

Chandeliers can be used in every corner of houses and all living areas. Chandeliers perform lighting functions in the living room, dining room, bedroom, and kitchen. Besides these features, the chandelier is an element which completed the decoration of houses.
